Gord Klassen, Site Foreman, has been in construction for 40 years and consistently ensures that those standards are met on site. Many of the trades people have also been with the company for over twenty years due to their ability to consistently meet the exacting standards required by John Boldt Builders. Whether the construction is done on one of the company's lots or the client's own lot, in the city or the country, the client can depend upon John Boldt Builders.

John Boldt started his building business in 1966. The company is dedicated to being a true custom homebuilder by taking the dreams of its clients and building the home that meets those dreams. The company’s success has been built upon referrals. Clients have come to depend upon the individual attention, consistently superior craftsmanship, and dedication to client satisfaction that is associated with the John Boldt Builders name.

The company’s reputation for making things right and putting the client first has resulted in John Boldt Builders becoming known as one of the most reliable and trustworthy builders in the Niagara Region.  John Boldt passed away on August 15th 2023 at the age of 94.

Owner & Operations Lead

Dan Duerrstein, John’s son-in-law, has been responsible for over seeing all of the projects and the day-to-day operations of the company for over 40 years. Dan has been an integral part of the company since 1985 and takes great pride in continuing with the traditions of superior quality craftsmanship and personal attention on which the company was founded. He works together with a local architectural designer offering clients a wealth of experience in creating new plans or revising existing plans to build the client’s dream home.

You are already protected by the Ontario Government's Tarion new home warranty program, which builders must provide by law. We extend this coverage from 7 years to a full 15 years, more than double the industry standard.

John Boldt Builders guarantees in writing the contracted price of building your new home, protecting you from changing materials and labour costs.

When your contract is signed, a completion date is set and guaranteed. Should we fail to meet it, we pay you $250.00 for every day your home remains incomplete.
